PRO-LIFE renders NFP-RP seminar to Paco parents

PRO-LIFE Philippines gave 72 parents from Paco, Manila a seminar on Natural Family Planning (NFP) and Responsible Parenting (RP) last August 9, 2009 at the L’Eau Vive Restaurant in Paco, Manila.

Upon giving the seminar, life coaches Malou O. Agsaluna and Ellen B. Sanchez put emphasis on NFP’s dynamism. They told the parents that NFP is more than just a method for child spacing.

“NFP is actually a way of life. It encompasses more than just contraception,” Agsaluna said.

The music video about abortion titled “Hard Truth “was also shown during the seminar which participants found very touching. A short discussion regarding the criticism on the pending Reproductive Health bill was also done by the life coaches.

Sr. Auda Mangaron of the Missionary Workers of the Immaculate of “DONUM-DEI “sponsored the said seminar. The seminar was organized in lieu of the apostolate activities done by the nun among their adopted families in Paco. Church teachings and pro-life talks were given to these families every second and last Sunday of the month as part of their spiritual formation. Ellen B. Sanchez
