Divorce bills such as these will lead to easy divorce, a divorce culture, wholesale destruction of families as we have ALREADY WITNESSED with cultures in the USA, UK, Europe, etc. More "advanced" countries. More advanced family destruction.
Do not ever believe for one minute that the intent of the author of this bill is to improve the lives of future Filipinos. Usually the authors and supporters of divorce bills are into FAILED MARRIAGES themselves or who condone the actions of people in FAILED MARRIAGES.
These anti-lifer's attitudes towards marriage is that of a puppy love - boyfriend - girlfriend relationship... stunted, forever juvenile and temporary. As such, if permanent marriage is not for them, then they have the freedom NOT to EVER get married... what they do forget is that they have to FREEDOM to go and get help from Pro-Life and Pro-Family organizations and learn SKILLS and ATTITUDES to get their marriages and family back together again!
For the rest of us who are into raising SUCCESSFUL FAMILIES, we see permanent marriage as a vehicle to our family's security and a better future. We know the ins and outs of successful marriages. We live it, we breath it, we teach it to our children, and we teach YOU who are willing to call and ask for help.
The reason Filipino families have stayed resilient over the decades is because marriage is considered sacred.
