The real meaning of “Reproductive Health”, “Adolescence” and “Young People”
The term “reproductive health” is used constantly in United Nations documents and by the population control lobby worldwide. The World Health Organization produced an official definition of the term “Reproductive Health” in its “Technical Definitions and Commentary” prepared for the UN’s International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo in 1994. According to this definition:
“Reproductive health implies that people are able to have responsible, satisfying and safe sex life and that they have the capability to reproduce and the freedom to decide if, when and how often to do so. Implicit in this last condition are the right of men and women to be informed of and to have access to safe, effective, affordable and acceptable methods of fertility regulation of their choice, and the right of access to appropriate health care services that will enable women to go safely through pregnancy and childbirth and provide couples with the best chance of having a healthy infant.”
But what is the meaning of the term “fertility regulation”? Again, in the same paper, the World Health Organization has provided an official definition: “Fertility regulation is the process by which individuals and couples regulate their fertility. Methods that can be used for this purpose include, among others: delaying childbearing, using contraception, seeking treatment for infertility, interrupting unwanted pregnancies, and breast-feeding.”
“Interrupting unwanted pregnancies” is simply a euphemism for abortion on demand. Thus, it is clear that “reproductive health” according to the official WHO definitions, does include abortion on demand.
The World Health Organization produced an official definition of the term “Adolescence” “Youth People” in its “ Technical Definitions and Commentary” prepared for the UN’s International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo in 1994. According to this definition: “The term ‘adolescence’ has been defined as including those aged between 10 and 19, and ‘youth’ as those between 15 and 24; ‘young people’ is a term that covers both age groups, i.e. those between the ages of 10 and 24. True adolescence, however, being the period of physical, psychological and social maturing from childhood to adulthood, may fall within either age range.
