ART EXHIBIT FOR A CAUSE: “PAPA KIKO” – Benedizione del Papa II.

Pro-Life Philippines Foundation Inc., founded by the late Sr. Pilar Verzosa, RGS has been promoting the culture of life for the past 40 years. The Foundation is likewise at the forefront of upholding and defending the sanctity of life and the natural family as these are the foundations of humanity and of our Christian Faith.

Through the years the Foundation’s efforts to carry on its mission is not without difficulties. Foremost of this is the meager resources that it has atits disposal. Thus, the Foundation and GruppoBiswal are undertaking an art exhibit entitled “PAPA KIKO Benedizionedel Papa II,” a collection of paintings of Pope Francis and his papal visits in different parts of the world. The collection includes memorable images of the Holy Father’s visit to the Philippines last January 2015.

The first “Benedizione” exhibit was mounted at the Manila Cathedral Basilica from December 31, 2014 till the actual papal visit. It was highlighted by the unveiling of the Mural of the Five Popes blessed by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle before the New Year’s Eve mass. The Mural, now displayed in the Manila Cathedral Basilica sacristy was painted by GruppoBiswal artists.

This second “Benedizione” exhibit is a fund generation project hoping to raise a substantial sum to finance the activities and projects of Pro-Life. Two of these projects are to assist in the upkeep of the Pope Francis Center in Palo, Leyte and to partly finance the needs of the orphans of the Hayag Orphanage in Ormoc City, Leyte. Both are under the care of the Archdiocese of Palo. We attached the letter of endorsement of Most Rev. John Du, DD, Archbishop, Archdiocese of Palo for the art exhibit.

The exhibit opening will be on July 31, 2015, Friday at 5:30pm at Barbara’s Restaurant located at the Plaza San Luis Complex in Intramuros, Manila.

Share your blessings by acquiring by way of donation some of the pieces of art on display. The exhibit will run until August 14, 2015. Pro-Life Philippines is a PCNC-certified donee institution.

Your donation will certainly make a big difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in the Archdiocese of Palo and in other places where Pro-Life Philippines is endeavoring to convince our brethren to embrace the value of life and the natural family.

God bless us all…
