B. Braun Medical Supplies Inc.'s Country Manager, Julian Gerard Nair hands over the cheque to ProLife Philippines Foundation Inc.'s President, Eric B. Manalang.

Asia-Pacific subsidiaries of B. Braun through B. Braun Philippines , the company that develops, manufactures, and markets products and services for the medical field, and is one of the world’s leading suppliers to hospitals and healthcare providers, donated a total of P1.2 million pesos for the caring home that was severely damaged by Typhoon Yolanda.

B. Braun Philippines signed a memorandum of agreement with Pro-Life Philippines last March 29, 2014  for the project   “Project Hayag Kalinga”

This MOA is expected to boost Pro-Life Philippines’ advocacy in helping the children made orphan by Typhoon Yolanda through the  Hayag Receiving and Child Caring Home,  at Ormoc City , Leyte.

The caring home is a temporary shelter for abandoned, neglected and surrendered babies and children ages 0-3 years old. The home depends solely on donations and benefactors’ pledges.

It was agreed during the short meeting that Mr. Moises Canete will be the administrator of the improvement of the center. He will be visiting the site at least twice a week, and will determine cost as the need arises.
