michael voris

We are  happy to announce that Mr. Michael VorisFounder & President of St. Michael’s Media and Sr. Executive Producer of Church Militant.TV will be coming over for our celebration of Pro-Life month. We are excited to hear him speak again to Filipinos who thirst for God’s word.

For this year, Michael Voris will be having  several talks on several different places. Below are  Mr. Voris’  itinerary and the topics he will discuss for each day:

Feb. 20, Thursday, 8:00 am- 4:00 pm.

Don Bosco Technical College, Mandaluyong City,

Don Bosco Technical College is run by the Salesians, who are also very vocal in their opposition to the RH law. The audience  will be the college students and those taking technical  vocational 15-month courses. There will be two 2-hour talks, one in the morning, and one in the afternoon, each followed by an open forum. The theme is: “St. John Bosco’s Challenge to the Youth:  Fight for Life, Live in Chastity.” The focus is on helping the students become more aware of the culture of death, and how they, as sons of St. John Bosco, should be faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church and become pro-lifers defending life, promoting family values, and upholding marriage between one man and one woman by opposing the LGBT agenda.

Feb. 21, Friday, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

St. Bridget School – Lipa City, Batangas

A few hours’s drive south of Manila is Lipa City in Batangas. This diocese is very active in the pro-life fight, as its bishop, Archbishop Ramon. C Arguelles, is the most staunch and vocal bishop in this fight against the culture of death. The talk, entitled: “The Importance of the Laity in the Pro-Life Movement,” will be attended by parents, teachers, catechists, students, and many lay groups. Two hours, plus 30 minutes of open forum. This year being the Year of the Laity, Mr. Voris will share his insights about how the Laity should be leading the fight against RH, abortion, euthanasia, and same-sex marriage.

Feb. 22, Saturday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

St. Joseph Retreat House, Our Lady of Loreto Parish,
Manzanas St. Sampaloc, Manila

At the heart of Manila lies St. Joseph Retreat house, and this where the last talk, entitled “Effective Pro-Life Plans and Strategies” will be held, to be attended primarily by pro-life and family and life groups. He will share with us about the pro-life movement in the States, and how it is slowly winning the battle against abortion. He will tell his  experiences with the culture of death in the States, and how we Filipinos could learn from the pro-life experience in the US. This talk will be held in the morning, 2.5 hours, open forum follows.  Registration fee is P700.00, inclusive of snacks and lunch, kit and certificate.

We know that Mr.  Voris’ presence  will inspire more Catholics to take up the pro-life fight so that the Gospel of Life may be preached in all sectors of the Filipino society today. The battle for life, family, and marriage is a crucial battle which the church in the Philippines and our society cannot afford to lose. We hope that these series of talks of Michael Voris  will help bring about ideas that will help us win the battle for life. We stand fast and we stand strong against these attacks on life and our Church.
