STATE OF THE SOUL OF THE NATION ADDRESS 2

ssona final

Fellow Warriors for Life!

Last year, we held our first “State of the Soul of the Nation” Address.  On July 23, 2012, at the Bulwagang Diego Cera, San Sebastian College – Recoletos, Claro M. Recto Ave., Manila we shall hold our second congress of the faithful.  It will showcase the different members of our society like the urban poor, the farmers, the fisherfolk, the prisoners, the media, and the education sector, among others, in order for them to voice out their dreams, frustrations, aspirations, and expectations for the present government. We hope that this event will give our nation a true idea of the country’s true state coming from the citizens themselves, and that this program will act as the voice of the poor and the marginalized.

We are wishing that this occasion will be the voice of the people whom the government has forgotten and deemed insignificant. The congress will start with the Holy Mass at exactly 9:00 am, to be concelebrated by several priests and bishops. This is followed by the program itself at 10:00 am, with Radio Veritas covering the proceedings. Each of our speakers from different sectors of society will be giving a no-holds barred assessment of their present situation and offer viable solutions to the government on how to address their problems.

We ask for your participation and utmost support for this event; as partners and allies in our quest for promoting a culture of life in our society, your presence is crucial to the success of this event.

Sadly, this will be on a Monday 🙁 But may we ask for a soft copy of the SONA to be emailed to us? We’d love to be able to feature it in this quarter’s issue of Totus Tuus Maria. We always carry a Pro-Life article in our quarterly issues.

    Much thanks and God bless.
