Pagpapasya

new-pcs-ad

WHAT PRO-LIFE PHILIPPINES HAS DONE THUS FAR

159620713_785861408995799_4891122248563687817_n

Pro-Life Philippines has remained the vanguard in upholding and defending the value of human life from conception to natural death. The mission set forth by its founder, Sister Mary Pilar Versoza, RSG may have been fulfilled many times over. But the work continues as we face an ever evolving environment that challenges our resolve to keep the Philippines pro-life and pro-family. The seminars, trainings and other instruction, education and communication efforts have cascaded to local communities, schools, parishes and other organizations that contributed to the formation of family and life commissions throughout the country. To date, it has given more…

Letter of Opposition to Abortion

dr-ryan-capitulo

Greetings! I am writing this letter to express my STRONG OPPOSITION to all proposed bills to decriminalize or legalize abortion (induced or on-demand) in the Philippines for the following reasons: 1. The fetus is NOT just a part of a pregnant woman’s body that she can dispose of for any reason. The embryo, fetus or unborn baby has a unique DNA derived from paternal and maternal DNA. Even if the fetus is attached to the woman’s body via the placenta, the fetal DNA is distinct from the pregnant woman’s DNA. As such, a woman cannot claim that the fetus in…

Teen pregnancy surge proves RH law ineffective, says priest

frmelvincastro

A Catholic priest said that the teenage pregnancy surge only proves what they have been saying all along about the “reproductive health” law: it’s not the solution. Amidst efforts of the government to minimize unwanted teenage pregnancies, numbers continue to rise for the past years in the country. Fr. Melvin Castro, spiritual director of Pro-life Philippine, said it only shows that the RH law is not as effective as it was touted. “One of the key issues presented at the height of the debate (on RH) is that it will precisely avoid teenage pregnancy. The opposite is happening now,” Fr….
