The 2897 reported assisted deaths, represented 2896 deaths by euthanasia (lethal injection) and 1 death by assisted suicide (lethal prescription). Parents of ‘miracle’ micro-preemie thankful to bring home healthy girl

pearly-jo

Born on Independence Day 2018, the tiny girl named after her great-grandmother amazingly never got an infection and never had to have surgery, though she did experience a brain bleed, something not uncommon among extremely premature babies. Now she’s going home at a wonderfully healthy nine pounds. Pearly Jo spent 136 days in the NICU at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in McKinney, Texas, with her mother, Tisha Calhoun, driving 100 miles roundtrip every day to be with her. Calhoun suffered a miscarriage prior to becoming pregnant with Pearly Jo, and says she was desperate for a baby for years….

Trump Admin Cancels FDA Contract to Purchase Body Parts of Aborted Babies for Tax-Funded Research

ultrasound4d83

Now, the Trump administration has canceled the contract with Advanced Bioscience Resources, a company that buys and sells aborted baby parts from Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses. The Health and Human Services department said late Monday that it canceled the contract with the company because it didn’t include “appropriate protections” for fetal tissue procurement. The agency said in a statement that it has “initiated a comprehensive review of all research involving fetal tissue to ensure consistency with statutes and regulations governing such research.” The full statement reads: “After a recent review of a contract between Advanced Bioscience Resources, Inc….

British Medical Association Wants to Allow Doctors to Starve Mentally Disabled Patients to Death

elderlypatient34

This story was broken on 14 August 2018 by the Daily Mail. Is it justifiable to withdraw food and fluids from patients with dementia, stroke and brain injury who are not imminently dying? New ‘confidential’ draft guidance from the British Medical Association (BMA) – the doctors’ trade union – says ‘yes’ provided that a doctor believes it is in the patient’s ‘best interests’. The 77-page ‘confidential’ document, which is currently out for ‘consultation’ (although only to a few selected individuals), has been prepared by the BMA in conjunction with the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and the doctors’ regulatory authority,…

Alfie Evans’ parents to ‘form a relationship’ with hospital, ask supporters to return home: BREAKING

alfie3_810_500_55_s_c1

Speaking for both himself and Alfie’s mom Kate James, Tom Evans expressed his gratitude for the worldwide support his cause has received, but asked supporters to “return back to your everyday lives and allow myself, Kate and Alder Hey to form a relationship, build a bridge and walk across it.” This is the first time that Tom has read a prepared statement. He has normally spoken to the press without notes. Some Alfie supporters say that while reading the prepared statement, Tom looks as if he is reading a hostage note under duress. Some have noticed how the statement Tom…

Pope Francis Speaks Out for Alfie Evans After Meeting His Father: “It’s Our Duty to Do Everything to Care for Life”

alfieevans16

Pope Francis has spoken out on behalf of Alfie before and yesterday received Tom Evans and spoke with him at length about the situation. Then Pope Francis spoke publicly, talking to thousands of people in St Peter’s Square about the duty to care for and protect human life. Alfie’s father, Tom Evans, met with Pope Francis before the pope’s general audience and asked him to make a public appeal about the value of life. Evans clutched a green rosary during the emotional encounter, and a visibly moved pope embraced him, according to news reports. At the private audience in the…

Trump Administration Changes Obama Policy, Now Confirms Human Life Begins at Conception

conception4b

President Donald Trump’s administration signaled its commitment to protecting life again this week in a proposed Department of Health and Human Services strategic plan. The plan states that HHS will serve Americans at “every stage of life, beginning at conception” and up through “natural death,” Opposing Views reports. While the new language will not affect abortion laws, it will help direct public policy under the Trump administration during the next four years. Unsurprisingly, abortion activists are outraged by the draft. The pro-abortion blog Jezebel, the Huffington Post and other liberal news sites already have attacked the life-affirming language, despite its…

Canada reports nearly 2,000 assisted suicide deaths in first year of legalization

euthanasia_is_not_healthcare_1_810_500_55_s_c1

October 10, 2017 (Euthanasia Prevention Coalition) — The data from Health Canada’s second Interim Report on assisted dying states that there were 1982 reported assisted deaths (1,977 reported euthanasia deaths and five reported assisted-suicide deaths) in the first year (June 17, 2016-June 30, 2017) since legalization. There were 167 reported euthanasia deaths in Québec prior to the federal government legalizing assisted death, therefore as of June 30 there have been (1,982 + 167) 2,149 reported assisted deaths in Canada. Canadian governments have established a self-reporting system, meaning the doctor who carries out the death is the same doctor who reports the death…

NEW YORK, October 9, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — U.S. Marine Corps veteran J.J. Hanson fought in Iraq but never faced an opponent as fierce as cancer. Hanson lived an idyllic life. After successfully graduating from college with a degree in political science and public service, he served his country in Iraq. He and his beautiful wife Kristen had a healthy and energetic son. Then tragedy struck. On May 13, 2014, Hanson was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, an inoperable malignant brain tumor. “Three different doctors told me there was nothing that they could do,” he recounted. Understandably, Hanson fell into an overwhelming…

President Donald Trump Issues Pro-Life Statement Celebrating People With Down Syndrome

donaldtrump2

While some nations are doing their level best to destroy as many people with Down Syndrome in abortions, President Donald Trump has issued a statement for Down Syndrome awareness month celebrating the lives of those persons with the disability. As LifeNews has reported, Iceland claims to have aborted almost 100% of babies with Down Syndrome. Just a handful of children with Down syndrome have been born in Iceland in the past decade. Two are born each year, on average, but the rest are killed in the womb. For most of the children who were born, their mothers decided not to…
