Talk about misplaced priorities. Spending billions on ‘family planning’ that will not feed you, shelter you, give you education, nor give you jobs. Though it is ideal to reduce maternal deaths, which is a disputed 11 maternal deaths per day, according to statistics, there are 75 Filipinos who die of TB every day, and 9 Filipinos dying from heart disease every hour. Shouldn’t we attend to these more pressing matters first?
