Message of Thanks

Dear Brethren : Thank you for the support you have extended in making the first March for Mary, Life and the Filipino    Family a success. We now have established a tradition of having the March on the day of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception which we hope will be a practice too for all our parishes and dioceses. This is a fitting celebration of Mary’s continuing significance to the life of the Filipino nation and its pro-God, pro-life and pro-family people. Indeed this is a most relevant and wonderful national holiday on December 8 of every year, hence. Maraming…

March for Mary and the Filipino Family

Pro-life advocates on Sunday walked for Mary and the Filipino family in celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Members of Pro-life Philippines walked from Malate Church all the way to the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, where Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle celebrated a mass for them. “This is the first time that we did this on December 8 that’s why there’s only a few of us… but we plan to do this every Feast of the Immaculate Conception,” Pro-Life President Rita Dayrit said in an interview after the mass. “Hopefully, next time…

How redefining medicine has redefined the family

November 25, 2019 (American Thinker) — Today, largely due to government policy, doctors’ offices have been transformed into a big government–controlled business, and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the leading body for family medicine in the United States, appears to prefer it that way. As older doctors like me leave the field, young idealistic physicians bypass family medicine; they are neither interested in working for a business nor motivated by a stifling code of political correctness that fails to recognize the dignity of every human being. Over 50 years ago, purposeful ignorance of the definition of reproductive health…

Abortion numbers are down, but they’re not counting do-it-yourself abortions

November 8, 2019 (Daily Signal) — Pro-lifers hailed some good news recently: The rate of abortions in the United States has fallen to a record low, according to a recent report from the Guttmacher Institute. But the report also included some bad news. Of the more than 860,000 abortions in the U.S. in 2017, chemical abortions increased 25% from 2014 and now account for nearly 4 in 10 abortions in the U.S. And that doesn’t include self-induced abortions, which the report indicates are going up. But the report also included some bad news. Of the more than 860,000 abortions in…

The Church and ‘LGBT discrimination’

In recent months a lot of discussion has swirled around the issue of alleged “discrimination” against “transgenders” and members of the “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex” (“LGBTQI”) community. Due to the bathroom brouhaha stirred up by Greg Martin Diez – who now goes by the name Gretchen Diez – the issue was catapulted to the forefront of the nation’s attention, as if far more important than truly pressing matters such as the plight of our farmers, the actual state of our national sovereignty, corruption and law enforcement issues needing urgent attention, and the horrendous traffic situation in NCR. Although…
