Pro-life Respect & Care for Life Week 2021 Celebration
February is Prolife Month as proclaimed by former Presidents Cory Aquino. Yesterday we had our opening mass to celebrate the occasion presided over by Bishop Pablo Virgilio David at the San Roque Cathedral in Caloocan. We then proceeded to have a motorcade composed 22 vehicles and a dozen motorcycles from San Roque to the Manila Cathedral passing through Tondo, Divisoria and Binondo carrying relevant and timely messages in support of life and family. Prolife Philippines led by Rita Linda Dizon Dayrit and Cora Afuang, was joined by the Daughters of Mary Immaculate coming from various dioceses; Sr. Sol and her…
‘Courageous prophet’: Tributes pour in for Archbishop Cruz
Tributes poured in for a “courageous prophet” who braved threats and harassment in fighting the social ills in the country. Archbishop Oscar Cruz did not aim to overhaul society when he embarked a crusade against gambling in early 2000. His goal was to awaken the people to their exploitation by the gambling lords and their protectors in government. Those who knew him have nothing but praises after he died in a hospital due to complications from the coronavirus disease on Aug. 26. Archbishop Socrates Villegas of Lingayen-Dagupan said his predecessor was “a faithful shepherd” and “a patriot and pastor”….
Transgender policy: he or she as they want
At a government forum, a woman speaker began her presentation by laying a ground rule: she was to be referred to as “he,” “sir,” and a “man.” None in the audience objected to this ridiculous act of bullying. Bullying, as it was obviously forcing others to agree lest incur the punishment of being called a bigot or intolerant. Ridiculous, because the entire exercise simply goes against reality. To rely on biology, science, or fact is not bigotry. But to compel people to disregard reason is extremism no different from…
Official Statement of Pro-Life Philippines on Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour Concert
Prolife Philippines urges each and every Filipino not to attend Madonna’s two-day concert which is part of her Rebel Heart tour, to be held on Feb. 24 and 25 at the MOA arena in Pasay City. Prolife believes that art should uphold truth and beauty, and should never be used in order to desecrate or disrespect any person or any religion. Madonna has always included in her shows performances that have been disrespectful to religion, and Filipinos, regardless of their faith or creed, should not patronize such entertainers. Let’s protect our people from exposing themselves to EVIL as this horrific…
FILIPINOS FOR LIFE OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE SCOTUS’ DECISION ON SAME SEX “MARRIAGE”
Posted on 7 July 2015 by Truthsayer We, the members of Filipinos for Life, express our dismay at the recent decision of the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) to legalize same-sex “marriage”. We believe that SCOTUS acted outside the bounds of its authority in redefining the meaning of an institution which has been understood, from the beginning of human civilization, as the union between a man and a woman. This lamentable decision, which has no historical, traditional, cultural, or natural foundations, is based on an irrational sentimentality and a misplaced sense of compassion that fails to consider the future of the…

NO TO SAME-SEX MARRIAGE
Pro-Life Philippines’ Statement on Same-Sex Marriage Basic human nature says it is wrong. Human reason says it is wrong. Catholic Christian Faith says it is wrong. There is no civilized reason why same-sex marriage can be right. There is nothing in human evolution that suggests that same-sex abomination can ever be right. Not in nature. Not in reason. Not in Faith. Only in people who have lost their sense of humanity. Human civilization is a product of innate human intelligence and reason. Human society flourishes plainly because people continue to engage in relations that benefit themselves and the community they…

Our artists have given us true masterpieces which capture the mystery and essence of life.” Mr….
